A dive instructor trains and assesses individuals in underwater diving, including recreational and professional divers. A diving instructor is a person who trains, and usually also assesses competence, of underwater divers. This includes free divers, recreational divers including the subcategory technical divers, and professional divers which includes military, commercial, public safety and scientific divers.
A hotel general manager is the top-ranking executive responsible for overseeing all hotel operations to ensure guest satisfaction and profitability. Key duties include managing all departments, staff, finances, and guest relations, as well as developing strategies to meet business goals.
Key responsibilities
Operations Management:
Ensures the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of all hotel departments, such as front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
Financial Management:
Creates budgets, monitors financial performance, controls costs, and implements strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy.
Staff Management:
Oversees all staff, including hiring, training, and supervision. They are responsible for building a strong team and a culture of excellent service.
Guest Relations:
Prioritizes guest satisfaction by handling complaints, ensuring quality service, and fostering a positive experience for all visitors.
Strategic Planning:
Develops and implements strategies to achieve the hotel’s financial and service goals, which can include marketing, sales, and brand management.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensures the hotel meets all health, safety, and security regulations.
