Bali’s highest volcano Mount Agung appears on the brink of larger, more violent eruption as it spews out a massive ash cloud and destructive cold lava, officials have warned. Here are the latest updates on the Indonesian volcano.

Bali Volcano News 29.11.2017 – 3pm local time: A two-and-a-half-day flight ban was imposed because of an imminent volcanic eruption – now the international airport of the Indonesian holiday island of Bali has reopened. The operation was resumed on Wednesday at 3pm local time, as an airport spokesman announced.

Because of the danger of the volcano Mount Agung in the east of the island since Monday all flights had been canceled. Several thousand tourists could not leave the island. Currently more than 5000 German tourists are staying in Bali. With the reopening of the airport, the situation at the airport could now relax noticeably.
